Flood Simulation

As we worked on our Soil & Water Conservation Merit Badge, we got a little wet simulating rain and flooding with our tabletop watershed model. We saw how storm events can cause flooding. We also saw how the use of wetlands and other practices can be used to minimize flooding, save soil, filter out pollution, and improve water quality.
