Troop News & Updates

Welcome to 2022

The Troop wishes you and your family a safe and prosperous New Year!  A lot a exciting activities have been planned by the Troop for 2022.  In January we will have the electronics campout.  In February, we will be hiking and skiing at our campout.  In March, we will have a regular campout, and then in April, we will go to the University of Illinois Engineering Open House for our monthly activity.  Keep an eye out on the signups so you don't miss out on the fun!

Updated Website

A new Troop 41 Sugar Grove website is currently being rolled out.  We liked the old format and it served us well, but it looks like our website host is forcing us to update and get used to something new.  We are still just dipping our toes in the water on updates so there are a lot of pages that need to be updated.  We ask that you be patient.  Thanks!

Philmont 2023    

Please find a link to a google form RSVP for Philmont 2023 from email sent out by the Adult Leader coordinating the trek.  There are also two links in the google form RSVP you should checkout, one is to a PDF of the slide show from the 12/14/2021 meeting and the other is to a marketing video by Philmont.  There are also many older Scouts that I'm sure would be happy to fill you in about their experiences at Philmont 2019; you should consult with them.  Philmont is truly an experience of a life time, so I hope you will be able to find the time and resources for this adventure.   Please RSVP by 01/15/2022.  If you have any questions please don't hesitate to reach out via email: philmont2023@troop41sg.org

Hiking and Skiing Campout

The Troop has planned a Hiking and Skiing Campout for February 5-6. A signup link to a google form was sent out via email to all Troop families by the Adult Leader coordinating the activity.  You must signup, register, and pay by 01/16/2022 in order to participate.  If you have any questions please do not hesitate to reach out via email: scoutsbsa@troop41sg.org
