4-24-2021 Earth Day Conservation Workday

* Session 1: 1:00 – 2:30PM

* Session 2: 2:30PM – 4:00PM

Scouts have been invited to participate in a special Conservation Work Day at Bliss Woods organized for the Troop. Conservation Steward Mary O. would like Scouts to do some planting. We will be planting native shrubs in the area where Scouts cleared the invasive species earlier this winter.

Scouts can work on:

* Credit for Conservation Service Hours,

* Camping Merit Badge Requirement 9(c): Do a Conservation Project, -or-

* Soil and Water Conservation Merit Badge Requirement 8.c or 8.f.

Park by the old Camp KaDeKa, which is now Templo Belen: 42W635 Kedeka Road, Sugar Grove, IL 60554

Bring your own shovel, garden gloves, and a gallon of water to water the new plants.
