10/06/2018 - Webelos Activity Day, "Fall into Fun with Troop 41!"

Troop 41 will be hosting a Webelos Activity Day: "Fall into Fun with Troop 41" on Saturday 10/6/18 from 1:00-4:00pm at Bliss Woods Forest Preserve.

This will be an opportunity for the Boy Scouts to help lead Cub Scouts in various activities from knot tying to compass skills to leather working!

If you know a Webelo who might be interested in visiting Troop 41, please invite them to join us. Thank you for helping the Webelos to feel welcome.

The plan for the day is to have an activity, a craft, and then snack. Our Scouts participating and who need the first class requirement 4a (complete an orienteering course that is at least a mile long) will be demonstrating to the Webeloes how to use a compass, map, and GPS to navigate. There also will be other small activities along the course that will complete the first class requirement.
