Fox River Canoe Trip

On June 27th, 2020, ten Boy Scouts with their families went canoeing down the Fox River for 7 miles. We met up at C&M canoe rental where we went on a bus to go to the start of the trip. When we were canoeing, we saw cattle eating by the river, an eagle, and an eagle’s nest, along with some cool rock formations which you wouldn’t even guess were along the Fox River. Surprisingly, we only had one canoe capsize because a tree branch took them down. Overall, it was a good trip to get us prepared for our Northern Tier and Boundary Waters high adventure, which is only a few days away.
